My experience as a blogger

I like reading other people's blogs but I had never thought about starting my own blog. It was nice to talk about a topic, in this case traveling cheap, from my point of view.

Writing a post might be tricky sometimes because you have to tell things that are true, give recognition to webs or photos you mention and all that making it interesting and catching.

Overall, I really like the experience of writing my own blog although I don't think I will start a new one in a near future.

Best online work 2015

There are plenty of websites that can help you to save money when it comes to traveling. All of them try to look for the best prices and bargains online but, there is one website that I would consider the best one: Kayak.es

This web allows the users to compare between the different offers of flights, hotel stays and so on. It is totally free, there is no need to register and it is really fast.

I think that Kayak.es is by far the best online work for traveling cheap among the dozens of websites you can find out there. Triavago and expedia are other examples of these type of webs that are also really good but don't give the users the same facilities Kayak.es does.

Being a blogger for me

I had always wanted to start a blog, but I dind´t know how to do it properly. In this subject I increase my knowledge about blogs and social media, starting my participation in bloggers' life.

Being a blogger had helped me become more responsible and authoritarian. Knowing that everyday few people may read your blog helps you to be more responsible and careful in your work.
Apart from this blog, I had started another one as a hobby with one friend, a fashion blog called Pizzico di glamour that we will continue posting as soon as we can.

Here I leave you my links' posts about traveling cheap around Europe,

Social travelers

Since the creation of the first social network, hundreds of different one have been stablished. They include topics such as food, sports, and of course, traveling.

There are lots of different kinds of social networks that could be really useful at the moment of traveling, and I´m going to talk about them.

  • In Pinterest, there is a feature which has been created just for travel. It´s called Pinterest Pins. They all have a location, and it is really useful for making short journeys. Then, you can share all your pins with friends, and let them comment their own ideas or add more pins.
  • Download the Foursquare app from your mobile phone, and directly see what people think about restaurants around you. You won't have to search for a good looking restaurant anymore. Trust me, that after having visited two museums and a cathedral, you will want to eat as sooner as possible, and this app will help you finding the best options
  • Instameet, is a tool made for the community of Instragram. What this app does, is create meetings for enthusiasts of the well know picture sharing network, Instagram. Making new friends in different cities with the same passion as you has never been so easy!

Main points of a good blogger

This month in multimedia classes I’ve got the opportunity of participate in a little project; the creation of a blog. At first I wasn’t very excited about it because I got not idea on writing and posting every week opinions or information about something.

The following weeks I found it easier and funny because I realize that putting information about how to travel around Europe in a cheap way can help quite a lot of people. So, it’s not only about posting information, also it is about helping people in a different and honestly way because you talk and give advice through your personal experience.

Furthermore, writing a blog it’s a responsible work because you have to be honest. Also you might be a responsible blogger because if you have followers, they expect you to post every week. So I think that if you want to create a blog you have to spend time on it and doing it with dedication.

A noob blogger

This has been my first experience in blogging so far, and I quite have liked it. I would never thought that I was going to be posting written content regularly, and now I don't discard to continue doing it by myself.

Blogging on a regular basis requires commitment and dedication. You have to organize yourself and take it as a hobby, if you want success. You don't have to take it as an obligation, because you won't put the same effort on it, and the result will surely be poorer. For a successful blog, time and investigation is needed. You can't publish any news without having checked its veracity.

I have also learnt some tricks to make people care abut my blog, and also come things that would prevent me from receiving fines, such as avoiding plagiarism.

What's the best social network for travel?

This is one of the most frequent questions of anyone who want to do a trip. For this reason im going to talk you about two good sources where you can find the latest travel news, vacation tips and advice, travel apps and more. This are GogoBot, and IgoUgo.
To take full advantage of the first website, you need to be willing to be friendly with strangers. Because it is people you've never met who may have the most up-to-date scoop on the best restaurants in L.A., or the smartest way to get to downtown from the airport during a transit strike in Paris. If you're comfortable with creating a new persona for yourself as a capital-T traveler, GogoBot is for you. The one downside is that Gogbot's community is still fairly small.
A site with a much larger pool of travel hobbyists (half-a-million travelers, in fact) is IgoUgo, a community that's overseen by Travelocity. This past fall, it added social tools, such as an "I've Been Here" feature and a "Get Ideas from Other Travelers" button, which together can help you to find like-minded travelers and learn about their tips as well as share your own advice.

For more information you can visit both websites;

Blue Air

We can find different low cost companies to travel all around Europe. Today i'm going to talk about a low cost Airline called; Blue Air.

Blue Air (legally Blue Air - Airline Management Solutions S.R.L) is a Romanian low cost airline, with its main base at Henri Coandă International Airport. This Romanian Low cost company offers daily connections from Romania with France, Germaine, Italy, Spain, Portugal and England.
Booking tickets it’s not the only option in this company. If you go on his web you can find also information about the company, where they introduce their selves a little more to be closer with their customers;

“Our low cost model had been the same for the last years, and during this period some new companies had born based in our Company. In spite of this, Blue Air is always one more step ahead. One of our characteristic things is the smart flying.”

Also they offer you the option of make some suggestions and to contact them if you have some doubts. So this company is not only abou prices, also they try to be friendly with their clients. You can verify this visiting the company website.

Here are some tips, as reccommended in the post.

  •  Check out an open air festival, which might be free.
  • Use public transport instead of taxis
  • Try a "menú del día", which is really common in Spain.

Sources

I personally don't use many online sources as all of my entries have come from personal experience and advice given by people who have experienced it, however I've posted links to trivago.com hoteles.com and eurail.com which are the sites I recomend using before traveling

Money saving websites

Traveling doesn't have to break the bank and there are plenty of places that will help you find the best vacation for your budget. Getting discounts and the insider scoop is possible with now using some online resources.

These are some of the most useful websites online that can save you a fortune:
Hostel Bookers is the easiest way to book hostels all over the world, there you can find prices, customers reviews and amenities.
Home exchange is a different accommodation from the one we are used to, you list your house on the site, find another house where you would like to stay, and contact the member to see if they want to trade homes for a bit. This exchange system lets you live like a local in a comfortable house or apartment instead of a tiny and expensive hotel room.
Couch surfing is a web that connects people who want to spend a night on somebody's couch and save hundred of dollars on hotel costs! CouchSurfing is a worldwide community of amazing hosts and adventurous travelers seeing the world on the cheap.
When it comes to destination guides and travel communities, get the lowdown on your locale with destination guides and reviews for what to see and do, how to get around, where to eat and sleep, and information about local customs and processes. Listen to the people who have actually been there and done that.
The Backpacker allows people to see reviews of local bars, restaurants, accommodations, attractions, and tours. All reviews are user-submitted, and many places have multiple reviews.
Wiki Travel is just like Wikipedia.org but for locales. It's free, complete, and a reliable worldwide travel guide written by actual travelers. It's also a great resource for learning about your destination cities before you start planning a trip.

This sources are really helpful for people who want to travel but unfortunately can't afford to do it. This way, there's no excuse for not traveling!
